Brenda Sue (Willenborg) Reiss, 52, passed away Monday, March 6, 2017, at her home in Dieterich.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, March 11, 2017 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Bishop Creek, with burial in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday evening at the church. Memorials may be made to the donors choice.

Brenda was born June 6, 1964 in Dieterich, the daughter of Andrew and Sue Ann (Hartke) Willenborg. She was a member of St. Isidore Parish and employed by Quest Diagnostics for more than 25 years. Brenda was an avid sports fan of many teams, including the University of Illinois, the St. Louis Cardinals, and the St. Louis Blues. Her love of sports will live on through her family. Brenda also enjoyed her close friends, who will miss her dearly.

Brenda is survived by her two sons; Ryan (Adam Lancaster) of Beardstown and Shawn of Dieterich; sister, Pamela (Rick) Hoelscher of Effingham; four brothers, Gary of Dieterich, Brian (Lee) of Shumway, Kevin (Denise) of Dieterich, and Gregg of Dieterich. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, whom she loved very much.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents.
