Elizabeth "Betty Ann" Dust, 95 of Effingham, passed away Friday morning, December 28, 2018 at Lakeland Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Effingham.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 3, 2019 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Effingham with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Thursday morning at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham . Memorial donations may be given to the donor's choice.

Betty Ann was born August 17, 1923 in Stockton, the daughter of Thomas and Fanny (Dale) Smythe. She married Paul R. Dust on May 29, 1948 and he preceded her in death in 2012. Betty Ann worked as a bookkeeper and was a member of St. Anthony Church in Effingham.

Betty Ann is survived by her sons, Dr. Duane (Barbara) of Philo, Dr. Glen (Janese) of Sullivan and Bruce of Centralia; daughter, Eileen Dust of St. Louis, MO; daughter-in-law, Linda Dust of Effingham; 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Betty Ann was preceded in death by her parents; husband and son, Dr. Eugene Dust.
