Bernard G. Borries' Obituary
Bernard G. "Mopey" Borries, 85, of Montgomery, Alabama, formerly of Teutopolis, died Saturday, January 7, 2012.
A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 3, 2012 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Teutopolis. Burial will take place in St. Francis Cemetery with military graveside rites. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service, Friday morning at the church. Memorials may be made to Teutopolis Veterans Memorial.
Bernard was born September 22, 1926 in Teutopolis, the son of Bernard J. and Agnes (Busse) Borries. He served with U.S. Army and later rejoined with the U.S. Air Force for 20 years.
He is survived by one brother, James L. Borries of Teutopolis; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Bernard was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Lou Borries; sister-in-law, Betty Borries.
