Anna Marie was born August 16, 1925 in Effingham, the daughter of Frank and Anna (Zerrusen) Herboth. She married Leonard H. Niebrugge on September 8, 1945 and he preceded her in death on August 26, 2004.

Anna Marie was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church where she attended daily mass and was involved in the Council of Catholic Women. She was a true Chicago Cubs fan including going to Wrigley Field several times. Anna Marie enjoyed playing cards and going camping. She and Leonard traveled oversees many times; one trip she actually rode a camel. While in Rome, her highlight was shaking hands with Pope John Paul II. Her family always looked forward to her cheesecake she brought to their family gatherings.

Anna Marie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son-in-law, Marty Kuharich; siblings, Agnes, Louis, Mary and Francis; great-great-granddaughter, Rosalyn Koester.

A special thank you to the Lakeland Health and Rehabilitation staff for the love, care and respect for our mother for the past two and a half years.
