Anna L. Bobbett's Obituary
Anna L. Bobbett, 83 of Altamont, went home to be the Lord on Sunday, June 11, 2017.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Lutheran Care Center in Altamont.
Anna was born October 14, 1933 in Beattyville, Kentucky, the daughter of J. Everett Brandenburg, Sr. and Georgia L. (Caudill) Brandenburg. She was a retired school teacher, an insatiable reader, and proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved her family unconditionally. She will always be remembered for her sweet smile, gracious nature and ready sense of humor.
Anna is survived by daughters, Deborah (Joe) Cohorst, Barbara Logsdon (special friend, Roger Bailey), and Mary Ann (Joe) Moon; one sister, Dorothy Huffman of Soulsbyville, California; brothers, James E. (Barbara) Brandenburg, Jr. of Beattyville, KY and Robert (Linda) Brandenburg of Troy, Michigan and Irvine "Bo" (Theresa) Brandenburg of Nicholasville, KY.; eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Clyde E. Tharp and Billy Joe Bobbett; grandsons, Michael Logsdon and Dwayne Logsdon; sisters, Carlietta Stewart and Linda Hobbs and brother, Frank Brandenburg.
