Angela D. Van Scyoc 40, of Effingham passed away at 8:18 p.m., Monday, July 16, 2012 at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital, Effingham.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Sacered Heart Catholic Church, with burial in Watson Cemetery, Watson. Visitation will be Friday, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Van Scyoc family. Online condolences may be left at www.bauerfh.com.

Angela was born on November 14, 1971 in Effingham, the daughter of Eugene "Gene" and Kathryn J. (Boone) Koester. She married Aaron B. Van Scyoc on May 26, 1992.

She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Effingham and she was employed at McDonald's Restaurant as a salary manager in Effingham.

She is survived by her husband Aaron of Effingham; sons: Kaleb (fiance' Brittany Hamby) Van Scyoc of Effingham; Jacob Van Scyoc of Effingham; daughter: Brittany (fiance' Joey Meyer) Koester of Effingham; mother: Kathryn Koester of Beecher City; brothers: Mike Koester of Beecher City, Kevin (wife Charlyn)Koester of Watson, Eric (wife Laura) Koester of Effingham, Jeff (wife Tabbitha) of Watson; sister: Tina (husband Duane) Sapp of Watson; grandchildren: Madison and Adriana.

She is preceeded in death by her father Gene Koester and her grandparents.
