Adam T. Olson's Obituary
Adam T. Olson, 52, passed away Friday, June 6, 2014 at his home in Watson.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with visitation to follow until 7:00 p.m. A private burial will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Diabetes Foundation or the Kidney Foundation.
Adam was born September 17, 1961 in El Monte, California, the son of Vernon & Wanda (Carter) Olson. He married Jennifer Lankford on May 9, 1997 and she survives. Adam was an over-the-road truck driver, lifelong Oakland Raiders fan, member of Sacred Heart Parish in Effingham, and a member of the Effingham Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife, Jenni Olson of Watson; mother, Wanda Olson of Newton; brother, Sean (Christine) Olson of Indianapolis; sister, Shannon Olson (Bob Thomas) of Effingham; grandmother, Emma Carter; uncles, Tom Carter and Jimmy (Diane) Carter; aunt, Yvonne Esgana; nieces & nephews, Ashley, Bo and Summer Olson, Hannah & Noah Taylor, April (Aaron) Marley, Nicole Waldorf; great-niece and nephews, Brooklyn & Easton Marley and Miles Waldorf.
Adam was preceded in death by his father, Vernon.
