Abboline Partain, 93 of Teutopolis, departed this life on March 9, 2022.

She was born on February 14, 1929, in Rosiclare, the daughter of Joseph and Mayme (Wallace) Rushing. On December 29, 1943, she was joined in marriage with Deneen Partain. To this union were born two sons, Joey D. (Jewell) Partain of Knoxville, TN, and Thomas A. (Paula) Partain of Decatur.

The most important things in life were her family and home. Her daughters-in-law are so blessed to have had a mother-in-law that welcomed us with open arms and made us feel loved. Abboline was a member of the Hardin County Church of Christ and a 50-year member of the Eastern Star.

She leaves to mourn her husband, Deneen of 78 years; her sons and daughters-in-law; grandson, Michael (Debra) Partain of Lenoir City, TN; great-grandson, Tristan Partain, and many nieces and nephews. Special family members Sharon and Keith Hollander of Evansville, IN.

Abboline was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Joe Rushing, Jr. and Chipper Rushing.

Graveside services will be held at Fluorine Cemetery in Rosiclare. Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham is assisting the family with local arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed at www.bauerfh.com.
